Situated between the running waters of the Avon River and the Stratford parks system is the newly renovated and recently rejuvenated River Garden Inn. This is the former home of the Victorian Inn which was purchased in November of 2006 by the Hayter family who are also the current owners and operators of the Arden Park Hotel, also in Stratford.
Starting December 1st of 2006, the hotel underwent a full refurbishment and remodeling with all new furniture, drapes, wallpaper, carpet etc. The new River Garden Inn is now open to the public for the 2007 Stratford Festival Season.
Aside from the involvement with the Arden Park Hotel, the Hayter family are also the former owners of the Festival Inn which was sold to its current owners in March of 1998. They are no strangers to the Stratford hospitality and the needs and wants of the people travelling to this fine city.
